Terms of use
Last updated: October 29, 2026
These terms are the agreement between you and POLARGATE S.L. (tax ID B24895005, Calle Electrónica 6, 28027 Madrid, Spain) for using PolarParrot. By creating an account you accept them.
The service
PolarParrot is a Mac app that records meetings (your Mac's audio and your microphone), turns them into text with AI and gives you meeting notes, which you can export to Markdown or read from your AI through MCP. The notes are written by AI and can contain mistakes, so check what matters before relying on it.
Your account
You need your own email and must be at least 16. Keep your email secure: it is how you sign in.
Recording other people
You decide what you record and you are responsible for doing it lawfully: tell the people taking part and, where required, get their consent. Do not use PolarParrot to record anyone secretly or for anything illegal.
Plans and payments
- The free trial includes 3 meetings per Mac, each processed up to 1 hour.
- Pro: €15 a month or €150 a year (VAT included), with 20 hours of meetings a month. Monthly hours do not roll over.
- Hour packs with Pro: 5 h for €6, 10 h for €11 and 25 h for €25. They never expire.
- In the App Store version Apple takes the payment and its terms apply (including Apple's standard licence agreement). The subscription renews automatically until you cancel it in System Settings, in your Apple Account, at least 24 hours before the period ends. Refunds are handled by Apple.
- On the website Stripe takes the payment. You can cancel in your account on polarparrot.com and keep Pro until the end of the paid period.
Your data and your notes
Your recordings, transcripts and notes are yours. We use them only to run the service, as the privacy policy explains. You can delete your account at any time from the app.
Fair use
Do not try to get around the limits, access other people's accounts, copy or reverse-engineer the app, or overload the service. If you do, we may close the account.
Liability
We do our best to keep PolarParrot working, but there may be outages or errors. We are liable as the law provides; nothing in these terms removes your rights as a consumer.
Changes and governing law
If we change these terms in an important way, we will tell you first. Spanish law applies. If you are a consumer, you can go to the courts where you live.
