It records from the device, with no bot, as PolarParrot does. PolarParrot has no team plan. - **You have more meetings than a cap allows.** Jamie Pro publishes unlimited notes, with a 5-hour limit per meeting. PolarParrot Pro has a monthly hour cap. - **You want to stay free with few meetings.** Jamie gives you 10 notes a month of up to 30 minutes. PolarParrot's free meetings do not renew each month. ## When PolarParrot fits - **You are on your own and watching the price.** Jamie Plus costs €21, with no billing period stated, and Pro €39 a month paid yearly. PolarParrot Pro costs €15 a month, no minimum term, with 20 hours. - **You want to connect your AI without paying.** On Jamie, MCP starts at Pro. Mac, Windows, web, iOS, Android and a Chrome extension. | ## What PolarParrot does not do - **It only runs on a Mac.** There is no version for Windows, iPhone or Android. - **It needs two macOS permissions**: the microphone and system audio recording. Without them it cannot record. - **FaceTime.** PolarParrot cannot record the other people on FaceTime: macOS only lets it record your voice. - **Download.** The App Store version is not available yet. You download PolarParrot from this website. - **The audio leaves your Mac.** It is uploaded to our server to write the notes and deleted when they are done. You can change that in Settings. Transcription does not run on your Mac. - **The free part is short**: 3 meetings per Mac. Pro includes 20 hours a month, and extra hours are sold separately. - **The price is per person.** There is no team plan. ## What we could not check Some details about Jamie we could not settle: - The billing period of the Plus plan is not clear. - Its blog also mentions Android, which is not in its website data. - Its pages give both 80+ and 99+ languages. ## Sources 1.
